New Data Centre

iseek Communications recently completed a new state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar Data Centre located at Woolloongabba. This facility provides an optimal physical environment for companies needing to locate their computer equipment with access to high capacity Internet bandwidth. Already iseek has been successful in securing a number of key client's that benefit from the unique features that makes iseek's facility an ideal choice when considering data centre solutions.

The new facility has various systems in place for handling situations such as a power outage or failure, including
Uninterrupted Power Supplies, back-up diesel generators fuelled by a 30,000 litre diesel supply. The building in which the data centre is house, is serviced by diverse fibre entry points ensuring network redundancy.
The data centre features specially designed state-of-the-art technology for climate control with automated temperature and humidity sensors, as well as a high temperature alarm which means that the temperature is always at the optimal conditions. The data centre shell is constructed to sustain an external fire for up to 2 hours and in the case of an internal fire, a patented Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm System (VESDA) activates a highly effective INERGEN gas fire suppression system to suffocate any flames. The data centre has been fitted out with more than 25km of networking and power cabling.
