Christmas 2018 Embargo

This notice is to advise you of iseek’s embargo over the Christmas 2018 period.

There will be an embargo of all iseek services, planned works and platform changes over the Christmas period. During this time no hardware or software upgrades will be permitted to take place on any core or distribution networks and other customer facing IT platforms.

Embargo Start:12:00AM Monday 17th December 2018
Embargo End: 05:00PM Friday 4th January 2019

The following is a guide to restricted events and services that will not take place during this period:

  • Scheduled maintenance activities
  • Cabling and underfloor works
  • Additional cabinet installations
  • Power connectivity work
  • Network builds & provisioning of new services
  • Core network changes
  • Third-party carrier activities

Impact on Service Delivery and Modifications

New, relocation, modifications and cancellation orders placed with iseek prior to the embargo period will proceed as far as possible up to the 17th of December 2018  and will not be resumed until the 4th January 2018.

To ensure the timely delivery of critical services prior to the embargo, please ensure that new or relocation orders are placed immediately, and modifications or cancellations are placed by the 12th November 2018.

All fault restoration activities are exempt from the embargo period.
